We are looking for a Sales National Manager to join our team in Nigeria office. The Sales Manager will be
responsible for the sales management and market analysis for the organization, ensuring proper recruitment for dealership, onboarding new dealers and proper management of the credit book pricing for the organization in various states in Nigeria. An individual who is active in leveraging existing relationships and grow the business with speed within the industry space and across all existing states in Nigeria.

The National Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across the country. This role involves leading a team of sales professionals, managing key client relationships, and driving the growth of WATU Simu’s market presence. He/she will be responsible for the sales management and market analysis for Watu Simu, ensuring proper recruitment for dealership in various states , on boarding new dealers and proper management of the credit book pricing for Watu.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development
- Development and Implementation of the organization’s sales strategy.
- Analyze Industry trends-market and competitive analysis
- Regularly review sales performance through team evaluations/ coaching
- Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Develop strategies for net new business and account creation.
- Set sales targets and monitor team performance against these goals.
- Develop and manage a sales forecast/pipeline through the sales team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance satisfaction.
- Market Anlysis
- Conduct regular market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Ensure weekly reporting of sales trends/ forecasts
- Collaborate with the marketing teams to penetrate key markets.
- Ensure Implementation of CRM tools for customer retention (Dealers)
- Recommend changes in pricing structure based on market trends
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align strategies and improve product offerings.
- Collaborate with senior management to establish overall sales goals and objectives.
Budget Management - Prepare and manage the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business-related field.
Minimum of 5 years working in a sales and marketing field and at least 2 years working in a credit or fin tech company
Proven knowledge of sales and Marketing
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Proven track record of delivering enhancements to process efficiency.
