We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, competent, and experienced individual from within our team to fill the vacant position of a Sales Representative for Watu simu at Watu Uganda.
POSITION SUMMARY

Role Summary; The Sales Representative is responsible for building sound relationships with all customers, dealers/ store owners based on mutual trust and goodwill, Increase in revenue through increased credit conversions within the stores.
Key Duties and Responsibilities;
- Drive sell out by conversion of cash customers to credit)
- Increase in revenue through increased credit conversions within the stores
- Ensure effective and efficient route compliance
- Increase of store coverage by 12 new stores per month to increase the Simu universe
- Build sound relationships with all customers, dealers/ store owners based on mutual trust and goodwill.
- Provide continuous feedback as per client requirements (competitor activities, promotions, incentives, innovations, pricing, planograms)
- Identify training needs and escalate to trainer for action (including refreshers for stores that are finding difficulties in maintaining sell out
- Monitor competitor’s new innovations and Market sensing, and in-store pricing
- Ensure all company assets are maintained according to company policy
- Negotiate for Prime/Front Space to maximize on visibility of Watu Simu retail elements
- Check on store capacity and stock status for appropriate Simu sell out
- Report back on VOC in a timely manner for quick fix to be implemented
- Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained
- Plan and prioritize, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands
- Check accurate pricing, promotional pricing, competitor pricing
- Any other task assigned by management
-Assigned Route Plan Units Performance
-Business Development (min 8 stores per month)
Activity of Dealers / POS in route plan (85% AR)
-Dealer & POS Compliance
□ Assigned stores (POS) - Off Rate - Target below 8%
□ Actively tracking and escalating from performance dashboards &/or weekly Retail Mapping / Management Meeting

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- The Ideal candidate must be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- At least 2+ years’ experience in sales and Marketing and 1 years of experience working with a credit /fin tech company
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications and software for data entry and scheduling.
- Ability to handle inquiries and concerns with patience and professionalism.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer service.
- Team player with a customer-centric mindset.
- Well-developed computer skills, including proven ability to use google sheets and company systems
- Reporting skills and deadline-driven
