  • Edit and assemble video content for social media, website, presentations, and internal communications under supervision.
  • Produce short‑form assets (reels, TikToks, GIFs, stories) optimized for platform formats and audience behavior.
  • Prepare rough cuts, incorporate feedback, and deliver final masters with proper encoding and captions/subtitles.
  • Manage digital assets: ingest footage, apply consistent naming conventions, maintain version control, and backup media.
  • Contribute creative concepts and storyboarding for campaigns and social‑first series.
  • Support simple motion graphics/animation tasks (lower thirds, title cards, basic transitions) as needed.
  • Perform other duties to support the Brand & Communications team.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Film Production, Multimedia, Communications, Digital Media, or related discipline.
  • Practical experience or coursework with DSLR/mirrorless or camcorder cameras, lighting kits, and on‑camera audio.
  • Familiarity with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent).
  • Basic motion‑graphics skills (After Effects or similar) and ability to create GIFs and short‑form edits.
  • Understanding of social media formats and platform best practices (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Strong visual storytelling sensibility, attention to detail, and an appetite for feedback and iteration.
  • Reliable, organised, able to manage time and multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Portfolio or demo reel (even student/academic work) preferred.

Logistics & Commitment

  • Internship duration: full time - 6 months (with the opportunity to extend based on performance)
  • Working hours: 35- 40 hours a week
  • Location: Nairobi, with occasional on‑location shoots across Kenya as required.

What We Offer
